Robert Azzi: Ask a Muslim Anything

Sunday, June 24 at 2 pm

A conversation about Identity and Islam:

about being American-Arab-Muslim in America

After introductory comments, Robert Azzi will engage the audience in a conversation entitled, "Ask a Muslim Anything.”

Azzi has appeared at nearly 50 public libraries across New Hampshire, as well as in schools, churches, town halls, retirement communities and other venues discussing Islam, Muslims,  political, and cultural issues related to Identity, the Middle East and the "Other."

Robert Azzi is a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University, photographer, writer, consultant and advisor on Middle East issues. Born and raised in Manchester NH, he has spent most of his professional life as a photojournalist in the Middle East and, while based in Beirut, Lebanon, his work appeared in Time, Newsweek, National Geographic, and Paris Match. He writes not to convince people of the “rightness” of his positions but because he believes that an awareness of the Other’s narrative is essential both for our national and global consciousness while enhancing  America's security.

"I want to start a conversation.”

No Topic is Off the Table.
