The Other: To Be or Not To Be

A talk about Identity and Islam: about being American-Arab-Muslim in America

Robert Azzi is a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University, photographer, writer, consultant and advisor on Middle East issues born and raised in Manchester NH. He has spent most of his professional life as a photojournalist in the Middle East and while based in Beirut, Lebanon, his work appeared in Time, Newsweek, National Geographic, and Paris Match. He writes not to convince people of the “rightness” of his positions but because he believes that an awareness of the Other’s narrative enhances America's security.  "I want to start a conversation.”
